Where to find her
- On the laptop: the Ask Lily bar at the bottom of the sidebar (or press ⌘K, or Ctrl K) opens her page.
- On any other page: the round Ask button at the bottom right opens a quick panel beside the page, about that page. It starts fresh each time you open it.
- On the phone: the round button beside the tab bar, on every tab.
Lily is in Rounds and in Lite. She isn't in Pro.
Asking her things
Ask in plain words: Who owes me money? What's left to do today? How did September compare with August? Show tomorrow's round on a map. She looks it up in your own customers, calendar and money, and answers with a map, chart or list where that helps.
- On a customer's page, or a day on the calendar, say "them" or "this day": she can see what you're looking at.
- A chat carries on for 45 minutes after your last question, then she starts fresh. Clear starts fresh straight away. There's no list of old chats.
Telling her to change things
- Say what you want: It's raining, move the rest of today to my next free day.
- Lily looks things up and shows a card with exactly what she'll do, and a note on what won't happen (for example, customers aren't told).
- Tap the button on the card (Move the day, Record it, Save it...), or Cancel. Nothing happens until you tap.
- Changed your mind? Most changes have an Undo on the card, and in Done today on her page, for a day afterwards.
Things she can do:
- move or skip visits, or move a whole day
- record a payment you were handed, or email a customer their pay link
- log an expense, add a customer, pause or restart a service, change a price
- with Lite: change your website prices (my callout's gone up to £60) and mark a lead won or lost
What she won't do
- She can't send texts. When she moves a visit, the customer isn't told: use Tell them on the calendar, as usual.
- She can't take or refund card payments or move money.
- She can't delete customers or change your settings, plan or billing.
- She isn't an accountant: she'll quote your figures, but not give tax advice.
Lily is an AI, so she can misread a request or get something wrong. That's why every change shows its card first. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Good to know
- Lily is included in your plan, with a fair-use limit each month. If you're running low, her page tells you how many questions are left.
- Her answers are only as good as what's in WorkWise: a customer with no postcode can't be put on a map, for example.
